Collection S: Woodland Wonders
There is nothing more lovely than to sparkle woodland floors with deer- and rodent-resistant naturalizers. This sampler will introduce their delicate beauty and magical impact.
Estimated planting area: 22 square feet. Top size bulbs. Bloom time: April-June. Plant the about 5" deep and 5" apart. Horticultural zones: 5-7. Height: 4" to 18". Please note that our collections are shipped in mid-October. (Each variety's photo appears in order as listed from left to right and top to bottom.)
• 25 Eranthis cilicica: Bright lemon-yellow. 4".
• 25 Galanthus elwesii: Creamy-white, tipped green. 5" to 8".
• 50 Geranium tuberosum: Rose-purple. 8".
• 25 Hyacinthoides hispanica Excelsior: Violet-blue. 12" to 15".
• 50 Ornithogalum nutans Silver Bells: Pale greenish-white flowers. 12".
• 25 Oxalis adenophylla: White to lilac-pink. 2" to 4".

Our special collections have been created so that you may experiment with wonderful companion flower bulbs in smaller quantities at exceptionally low prices. All varieties are individually packaged and labeled. Horticultural information and individual descriptions are included under each variety's listing on our website. The estimated square footage for each collection is based on a single layer, solid planting at the rate of four large bulbs per square foot or nine small bulbs per square foot. The planting coverage will vary based on your particular landscape design. Determine the square footage of your garden by multiplying its width by its depth. Collections are shipped mid-October. All bloom times are approximated for horticultural zone 5 in a normal, prolonged spring. Please note that spring heat spikes can cause flowers to bloom early and perhaps a bit shorter although they will continue to grow in height while they are in bloom.
