The Early Bloomers Bee-Buffet
Early sightings of these Eranthis (The Winter Aconite), Galanthus (Snowdrops), Crocus (Snow Crocus) and Iris reticulata have a huge impact on the budding beauty of our environment, as well as on the bees. The bees depend on these flowers for nourishment to help them thrive after their long winter hibernation. Often, they are the first opportunity for bees to eat for their survival.
