Tulip Yosemite
This Mrs. John T. Scheepers and Don Quichotte crossing, previously called Wilja, is dark rose-pink with a purplish glow. It changes in hue and iridescence as it matures, and appears more pink or more cherry-rose in varying levels of sunlight. It has an interior, creamy ivory base that is variably edged with dark periwinkle striations. It sizzles brilliantly with Single Late Tulips Avignon and Dordogne. Tulip Class: Single Late. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. May. HZ: 3-8. Height: 26".
