Tulip Marilyn
Marilyn, a 1976 sport of Mariette, is one of the most fun, beautiful girls in the garden. She can be wild or sedate, depending on the amount of sunlight and wind. She can dance through the garden or stand straight and tall. Opening creamy-white with red feathering and flames, Marilyn matures to bright, glistening white and vibrant red. Marilyn is beautifully paired with parent Mariette or White Triumphator. (The framed photo of Marilyn over the mantel is one of Eric Breed’s flower portraits available at www.tulippictures.eu.) Tulip Class: Lily Flowering. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. May. HZ: 3-7. Height: 22".
Tulips are The Art & Soul of Spring.
