Because they are grown in the Southern Hemisphere, these bulbs are ready to pop out of dormancy more quickly than Dutch Amaryllis.

Usually blooming in four to six weeks once potted, they yield from 2 1/2” to 8 1/2” flowers, depending on the variety. Each will yield a second successive flowering stem! If they become too tall and leggy, cut them for a vase enjoyment: they are one of the most popular cut flowers in the Netherlands.
