Commonly known as Blue Grape Hyacinths for their form and sweet, grapey fragrance, deer- and rodent-resistant Muscari armeniacum (circa 1871) and its sports naturalize well with a succession of composite flowering stems. Here we have grouped together four varieties of Muscari armeniacum that may be planted in a special signature blend, or in companion clusters. (Muscari armeniacum and its sports commonly yield fall foliage that can be helpful in multi-year designs to help identify new planting areas in established beds. Nothing need be done to it. Just leave it be.)
