The Blue and Purple Hill Iris Mixture
Tetraploid Hill Iris grow taller and yield larger flowers on stronger stems than their Rock Garden brethren. Our new mixture is a blend of Iris reticulata Blue Hill and Purple Hill, each of which has falls accented by yellow blotches and white striations. They are also good for forcing. Bulb size: 6 cm/up. Bloom time: Early April. Horticultural zones 5-9. Plant 4” deep and 4” to 5” apart. Height: 6” to 8”.
Irises are The Art & Soul of Spring.
