Tulip Suncatcher
Ignite your garden with this brilliant, incendiary Tulip. Suncatcher is bright lemon-yellow topped with blazing scarlet-red petal edges. As the incandescent blooms mature, the intense coloration pales like fading embers. When we are in a field of Tulip Suncatcher in North Holland, it's almost impossible to get us to leave (or stop taking photos). It is a most compelling beauty. Triumph Tulips are known to be good for forcing. Please see the Tulip Forcing Tips below. Tulip Class: Triumph. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. April/May. HZ: 3-7. Height: 16" to 18".
Tulip Suncatcher staged a wonderful dance on a breezy day in its North Holland bulb field. Click here for a little VIDEO:
