Tulip Blushing Beauty

A cherished sport of Temple of Beauty, Blushing Beauty is aureolin-yellow, blushing rosy-red toward its petals' edges with interior, pink-rimmed, canary-yellow bases. Known as a Lefeber varieties, Temple of Beauty sports are all tall, late flowering and have an elegant, long, lily-shaped flower with gracefully reflexed petal tips. The other Lefeber varieties that we carry are Blushing Lady, El Niño and Temple of Beauty. Tulip Class: Single Late. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. May. HZ: 3-8. Height: 30".

These long, strong-stemmed Tulips are ideal for both cutting and mass border plantings due to their consistent and reliable performance. Offering an extensive rainbow of colors from white to near black, Single Late Tulips have large, shapely flowers. Scheepers Hybrids, often referred to as French Tulips, are prized for their large, chalice-shaped flowers and genetic vitality. All offspring of the ever-enchanting, tetraploid Tulip Mrs. John T. Scheepers (no longer available), they include Avignon, Belle du Monde, Camargue, DordogneMaureen, Menton, Renown and Yosemite. Top size bulbs: at least 12 cm. Bloom time: May.
