The color purple is one of the best for the garden. It can be a calming neutral to subtly ground the garden, or a dramatic contrasting focal point causing other colors to pop and sparkle. The spectrum of these purple varieties yields color that is both cool and hot, worthy of inclusion in every garden.

Estimated planting area: 50 square feet. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. Height: 14" to 24". Bloom time: April/May. Plant 6" to 8" deep and 6" apart. Horticultural zones: 3-7.
