Amaryllis Picasso
Named for the flamboyant artist, this beauty looks much like Picotee yet on close inspection, it has a smattering of crimson sprinkles within its crisp crimson picotee edges. It is also considered to be one of the most fragrant of Amaryllis! (Thanks to Jason Delaney, Professional Horticultural Services, for some of his wonderful photos.) Harvest bulb size: 26/28 cm (it naturally makes a smaller, top size bulb). After harvest, the bulb may shrink a bit as it dries: it will plump up again once potted and hydrated. For complete storage, planting and care instructions, click Amaryllis Horticultural Tips below. This selection is for three bareroot bulbs for planting in your own pots.
Amaryllis are The Art & Soul of Winter.
