Allium christophii
A. albopilosum. Circa 1884, the robust, long-lasting Star of Persia has immense, loosely compacted 8"- to 10"-wide globes comprised of over 50 starry, amethyst-violet florets with prominent metallic shine and green eyes (ovaries). Rabbit-, rodent- and deer-resistant, A. christophii is adored by bees, butterflies and helpful pollinators. Fall 2024 harvest bulb size: 12 cm/up. May/June. HZ: 4-8. Height: 18" to 24".
We are very sorry, but due to state agricultural restrictions, we are not permitted to ship Allium bulbs to Idaho, or to the following five counties in the State of Washington: Adams, Benton, Franklin, Grant and Klickitat.
