Happy Valentine’s Day! This is the best time to grow-your-own with pots of heart-red Amaryllis to give to those you love. Here we have paired romantic red varieties from South Africa and the Netherlands to help you celebrate Valentine's Day: Hercules, Inferno, Magical Touch and Miracle.

South African Amaryllis Inferno and Miracle usually bloom in four to six weeks once potted, with 6” to 8 1/2” flowers on 12” to 20” stems. Dutch Amaryllis Hercules and Magical Touch usually bloom in eight to twelve weeks with huge flowers on taller, strong stems. Each will yield a second successive flowering stem! If they become too tall and leggy, cut them for a vase enjoyment: they are one of the most popular cut flowers in the Netherlands.
