The Crinoline Petticoat Narcissus Special

We are hopelessly in love with Double Narcissi Lingerie and Sherborne. They are made for each other in every way possible: bloom time, height, size and congenial contrast.

Lingerie is an outward-facing, 177 Murray Evans hybrid. It has large, perfectly formed, 4" double flowers with snow-white petticoat layers interspersed with lemon-yellow petaloid whorls. A prized sport of N. Camelot, Sherborne is a brilliant award-winner with full, peony-like, 4", vivid golden-yellow flowers interspersed with rich somewhat darker orange petaloid segments.

Both of these big strong-stemmed puffballs look quite like crinoline petticoats and are extremely strong: they stand up out of their foliage, look right at you and withstand strong rainfall. Together, they put on quite a yummy show whether you plant them in a signature mixture or in companion clusters.

Individually bagged and labeled, it is specially priced about 20% less than our already terrific prices. (They are still on the pricey side, but are well worth it.) Normal shipping charges apply. Top size bulbs: 14/16 cm. Height: 14” to 16”. Bloom time: April/May. Plant 6" to 8” deep and 6" apart. Horticultural zones 3-8.
