Allium caesium

A. urceolatum. A rare species native to central Asia circa 1830, rabbit-, rodent- and deer-resistant A. caesium has gorgeous, pale sky-blue globes. Each 4"-wide globe is comprised of dozens of florets accented with variable indigo-blue midveins, indigo-blue anthers and paler, almost white, centers. Its long-lasting flowers mature to a more lavender-gray color in the garden and the vase after weeks of bloom. Adored by bees, butterflies and pollinators, A. caesium should be planted in substantive clusters for the best effect. Bulb size: 5 cm/up. June. HZ: 4-7. Height: 10" to 16". We are very sorry, but due to state agricultural restrictions, we are not permitted to ship Allium bulbs to Idaho, or to the following five counties in the State of Washington: Adams, Benton, Franklin, Grant and Klickitat.
