Lily Golden Splendour

Introduced in 1957, richly fragrant Golden Splendour has non-fading, deep golden-yellow flowers with a variable maroon reverse that can appear like a coppery raspberry sheen in summer's light. It has large, exquisitely formed, slightly recurved, trumpet-shaped flowers that are graced with elegant, long anther-tipped filaments. The outside of each 6"- to 8"-long flower has narrow ridges of luminous green that accents both its coloration and form. It is lovely paired with other Chinese Trumpets, including Pink Perfection.
